Breakfast cereal, including "granola”, is a cynical marketing ploy by religious fundamentalists to destroy your sex drive.

I need to memorize that sentence.  That's eminently quotable.  Doesn't hurt that it's essentially true.

1 I used to skip breakfast pretty much every day in high school. I was really skinny back then. In college I started eating breakfast regularly, but it was usually something egg-based in the dorms. I was still skinny. After college I switched to cereal-based breakfasts because I'm too lazy to cook the good stuff. I'm not longer skinny. After reading these articles, it sounds like it's time to start skipping breakfast again.

2 Your older habits were part of what kept me open-minded to it in the first place.  Aside from the weeks mentioned in the blog, I haven't eaten regular breakfast in about 10 months now.  I find I prefer it nowadays.
